The couples, their families, friends, coworkers and the community at large embraced the Challenge for Charity. They found many incredible and effective ways of “paying it forward” including:

Some thoughts from our couples
… it is a real eye opener to the fact that many people can't afford to feed themselves.
…you'll have a different outlook on what most of us take for granted.
…Last but not least, we would like to recognize Brenda Holdsworth and the entire Wedding Saviours Team for making us (the couples) sit back and think of others who are less fortunate and realize how much we take for granted.
…We Love this Idea! Both William and I feel the world would be a better place if more people would just be more caring and if you have the resources to help someone no matter how small you think it may be. I am sure it would make all the worlds difference to the one you help out!
…We leave you with this thought.... Has the idea of "paying it forward" blossomed in your home? and your Hearts? It has Ours.
…Meeting you and the rest of the Wedding Saviours has helped William and I realise that we need to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and just move on in life no matter how hard it gets. No matter how unfair we think things may be. Everything happens for a reason and we were not meant to win this wedding. But we sure do think that we were meant to meet you and the rest of the Wedding Saviours! Thanks to you we have faith in people again and know that YES there are people out there that have great hearts! So thank you for that! And Thank you for the memories, that we know we will carry with us.
…Win or Lose this has been a truly amazing experience!! We have met some GREAT couples that we would love to stay in touch with! We have also had the privilege meeting the wonderful team that is Wedding Saviours!!!! Shout out to Wedding Saviours for all of your time and devotion! This is a very special thing you are all doing and I hope it will not stop with this one!
…The whole Wedding Saviours team is so amazing and so much fun!
I think this whole operation is going to stir up and make some big waves in many communities to come!
…Andrea and I were really happy to be a part of this experience, we've learned things about ourselves and have the Wedding Saviours to thank for that..... To all 19 of the couples that have been a part of this journey we wish you a happy life together. To Brenda, Bruce and all of the other vendors........You are all amazing people because you have inspired not only the couples wishing for the chance of a lifetime to win this ultimate gift, but all of their supporters too.
…I'd like to thank Wedding Saviours for getting (us) these 20 couples out and about in our community helping others who would not necessarily be receiving the help they need without what we are all doing. I know that we all have it in us to give and this contest was just what we needed to get us going. I believe we will all carry on doing what we are as I personally know what a great feeling it is to be giving back!

…I sincerely hope that when this contest closes and the winner is announced, that all the good things that have come from this competition are not forgotten about...All the hard work done for the charities and the giving back to the community hopefully will continue and grow to new heights.

…It’s amazing how these 20 couples have embraced the idea of giving back to their communities, putting together clothing drives, food drives, charity events, etc. These couples are proof that you don’t need money to do something nice for someone else; you just need a willing heart and everything else will fall into place.
...It must be an awesome feeling to help people in need aside of ourselves...The" pay forward" really is a wonderful thing.
…Wishing the vendors continued success in their respective business's...Their time, effort and support that they have contributed to the wedding saviours speaks for itself.
...Many thanks to you all for caring and helping with this event and making one couples dreams of a wedding come true...
…Have many of you folks seen the movie "Pay it Forward" with Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt...A very touching movie for sure...Wedding Saviours has taken this concept with their contestants in my opinion... I personally would like to say thank you, for reminding us all that in this day and age, with the stress of day to day living and hardships for so many people that giving back to the community and helping others less fortunate doesn’t have to cost you a cent, just your time and effort into helping in any way you are capable of…There is only going to be one couple that wins this contest, but I hope all you couples realize that in the long run you are all winners for what you are giving of yourselfs to others….
